For the love of true stories.

Amy Brothers is a visual journalist and essayist based in Denver, CO. She believes stories should be told in the medium that fits them best. This may mean through photography, writing, or watercolor sketches.

She formally worked as multimedia producer at The Denver Post. Amy’s work has been recognized by the National Press Photographers Association for both deadline and individual short videos, and by BOP for video editing and deadline video. She won a Heartland Emmy for Best Environmental Feature and was part of The Denver Post video team that won a 2019 Emmy for overall excellence, the first time a newspaper has ever won that award.

Amy holds a master’s degree in New Media Photojournalism from Corcoran College of Art + Design. In the summer of 2013 she interned for National Geographic Books as a photo editor.
